G50 Gas Furnace Installation

Notice in this installation:

• Clear access to unit for future maintenance and service
• Furnace is on metal stands with sheet metal below for added fire safety.
• The unit is metal strapped to roof joist for extra support in an earthquake
• Secondary drain pan is installed under air conditioning evaporator coil in case primary drain becomes clogged
• All duct is triple sealed with tape, zip ties and then glen coated for zero leak connections
• Vent pipe is screwed and strapped to insure exhaust gases are vented through roof and not into the attic
• Each duct run has a volume control damper to regulate the amount of air that enters each room.
• The return air duct is given proper length and size to reduce air flow noise.
• Owners manuals and guarantees are in a plastic bag attached to roof joist at the top of the picture for future reference
• Most companies do not do their installs with such thoroughness and detail. All the small details put together make a Huge difference. Know what you are getting before you buy!
